How do I add a link in Framer?
Select an element and add a link from the top of the properties panel, or press L to focus the link control. Choose an internal page, a Scroll Target, or paste an external URL.
Can I link to another page in the same project?
Yes. Start typing the page name in the link field and select the matching route. You can use a slash to narrow the menu when the page contains nested routes.
How do I link to a section on the same page?
Give the destination a Scroll Target name, then choose the current page and that target in the link settings. Enable smooth scrolling if you want an animated movement.
Should internal links open in a new tab?
Usually no. Keep navigation within your site in Framer in the same tab so visitors can move through the site normally. A new tab can be useful for some external destinations.
Can I link only part of a text layer?
Yes. Select the specific text range and apply the link to that selection. This is useful for inline links inside body copy while the rest of the text remains unchanged.
